Relatively inexpensive mass produced centrifugal juicers have become so widely accepted that the quality or quantity of the juice produced or the method of extraction is rarely questioned. The masticating juicers that we recommend are in a different league and take the matter more seriously. They are, in general, more expensive, but they waste less food, the quality is far superior, both in manufacture and nutritional content of the juice and they can genuinely be considered as part of a naturally healthy lifestyle. The Champion Juicer is ideal for juicing all fruits and vegetables, especially root vegetables and it also makes the creamiest nut butters. Our years of experience have shown us that the Champion handles the softest pulpy fruit better than any other quality juicer and deals with the hardest root vegetables without fear of breaking any parts. The Champion Juicer is the only fruit and vegetable juicer that offers an optional accessory for grinding grain and coffee. There is also an optional extra screen with larger holes to create thicker juice nectars from pulpy fruits like mango, melon, peach and papaya.
Alongside the Champion we offer what we believe are the best of the single auger juicers - the Omega 8004 & 8006 Juicers and the Oscar Neo Juicer, and the user-friendly range of Hurom Slow Juicers including the Omega Vert (HU-300) Juicer and the Oscar HU-400 Pro Juicer, plus the best of all the twin gear juicers - the compact Green Power Kempo Juicer and the larger Green Star Elite Juicer. All these juicers excel at juicing leafy greens and grasses but can also juice fruits and vegetables. The Green Power Kempo and Green Star Elite extract the most juice by a margin, taking a little longer to do so, but rewarding you with a higher quality and less pulpy juice. For those with a smaller budget the improved single auger Matstone Juicer is an excellent choice and we believe it is the best value of the lowest priced masticating juicers on the market. All of these juicers - with the exception of the range of Hurom Slow Juicers - are multi-functional and can also make nut butters, pasta or noodles.
The Vertical Slow Juicers are the easiest to use because you rarely need to push food in - just drop it down the feeding chute and it gets pulled in. They make a pulpier juice than the other juicers, which many people prefer, but those who don't can choose to strain the juice through a Squeeze 'n' Sprout Nut Milk Juice Bag for a perfectly pulp-free juice. Slow Juicers are designed just for juicing, but they can also be used to make the best nut milks and other plant milks. The discontinued Nutri-SquEASE Max Juicer was a budget model Slow Juicer that gave the pulpiest juice, but the whole range of Hurom Slow Juicers have larger, quieter, more durable motors.
