Excalibur has been the industry leader in dehydration technology for over 35 years. Their U.S. manufactured Excalibur Food Dehydrators are of the highest standard for design, quality and dependability.

Excalibur dehydrators have the fan, heating element, and adjustable thermostat mounted in the rear for even drying. Cool air is drawn in the back, heated and distributed evenly across each tray. During the dehydration process, warm air removes moisture from foods and is pushed out of the front of the machine.

Horizontal airflow provides even drying, eliminating tray rotation. Drying is fast and heat is not lost as the dehydrator doesn’t need to be taken apart to change the tray sequence.

The adjustable thermostat controls temperatures from 35-68 degrees C (95-155 degrees F) and allows for perfect drying every time. The square tray design increases the drying area over standard round tray dehydrators.

The four polycarbonate drying trays slide easily in and out of the dehydrator and are dishwasher safe. One or more trays can be removed to allow room for larger items like sprout breads or whole fruits. The Excalibur is easy to clean with spills falling on a seamless base.

With 4 square feet of drying area this smaller, no frills 4-tray Excalibur is ideal for those with less room in their kitchen, a smaller budget, or for those who want to dry smaller amounts of food.

*Since there is no built-in timer with this model, we recommend using it with a plug-in timer (similar to that shown and widely available), which will also allow the dehydrator to be turned off automatically at the socket.
