For delicious meals and salads of raw fruit and vegetables or for frying or steaming. Whether making cooked potato or carrot nests, raw courgette, sweet potato or butternut squash pasta, or traditional radish or cucumber spirals, the possibilities are endless. Just give it a try.
Which fruit or vegetables are suitable?
Most of them. It is important that their consistency is not too soft or too loose so the spirals fall apart. Potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, courgettes, cabbage, onions, celery, horse radish, beetroot, peppers, aubergines, apples or pears are just as suitable as a piece of hard cheese.
NOTE: The Spirali Horizontal Spiralizer holds the centre of the vegetable in place with a sharp metal tube, so produces a narrow cylinder from the centre of the vegetable as well as the noodles or ribbons.
