The Oscar Vital Max 900 Juicer is one of the best horizontal single auger juicers available, finely tuned by the original maker of the single auger juicer to be a living juicer and food processor.

Key features of the Oscar Vital Max juicer:

Three phase extraction auger. The Oscar Vital Max has a newly patented three-step auger crushing system which provides ‘the maximum’ nutrient-rich juice. The patented design of the Oscar Vital Max 3-phase extraction auger, juicing cone and drum creates a 'turbulent force' which results in maximum juice, and increased vitamin content.

The auger rotates at 75 to 90 revolutions per minute thus producing a living juice as opposed to the thin oxidized juice produced in high speed, aerating centrifugal juicers. The careful precision mortar and pestle action of the Oscar Vital Max means the juice retains up to 60% more nutrients than conventional centrifugal juicers and a significantly higher volume of juice is produced. The living enzymes in the juice produced by the Oscar Vital Max ensure a fresh and vital juice which retains appearance, flavour and nutrients for up to 48 hours when stored in the refrigerator. Juice from conventional centrifugal juicers deteriorates very quickly. The quick deterioration of juice from high speed juicers shows in the brown colour of the bubbles on the side of your drinking glass. This means your juice is not as vital any more.

New improved efficiency of juicing screen and plunger. The Oscar Vital Max juicer comes with all new silicon seals on both plunger and screen to reduce the amount of pulp in the juice and the need of a sieve. The inventor of the single auger juicer realised consumers wanted to juice both fruit and vegetables as well as wheatgrass successfully. While centrifugal juicers will produce a wet mushy pulp from fruits, the Vital Max has a ‘silicon seal’ on the juicing screen which allows the fruit juice to be more readily separated from the pulp. The Oscar parts are made with a strong food grade plastic for durability, which test results have proven contains no toxic materials. Tests confirm the Oscar parts contain no BPA, Dimethyl Phthalate, Diethyl Phthalate, Di-n-butyl Phthalate, bis (2-Ethylhexyl) adipate, bis (2-Ethyhexyl) Phthalate and Di-n-octyl phthalate.

The plastic used is food grade polycarbonate. There is more than one type of polycarbonate and a common misconception is that all polycarbonates contain BPA. The Oscar parts contain no BPA or toxic chemicals of any kind.
