Midi-Classic Fully Automatic Distilled Drinking Water System

With the capacity to make about four litres of distilled water every three and one-half hours, the Midi-Classic is the ideal unit for a family or business or for anyone who needs high volumes of the purest water available for their health regime. This automatic distiller holds approximately 18 litres of pure water in its stainless steel holding tank. The Midi Classic will distil up to 26 litres per day.The Midi series is a favourite among buyers and is in daily use in over 130 countries worldwide. 

QUALITY CONSTRUCTION

The Midi Classic is constructed of top-quality stainless steel to provide years of dependable service with minimum care. It is fan cooled and equipped with a unique float design to stop automatically when the storage tank is full. A switch inside the unit can change the machine to manual fill operation for versatility. The unit has built-in steam-sterilisation and is easy to clean. A safety shut-off switch turns the unit off automatically when the storage tank is full. When it has been half emptied the distiller automatically switches itself on to top up the storage tank with fresh distilled water. The pure distilled water is dispensed from a tap on the front of the storage tank. The Midi-Classic is designed for many years of trouble-free service and comes with a 15-year limited warranty.

Each Pure Water distiller is complete with twin vents to allow the volatile gases to escape. The Midi Classic is supplied with twenty five feet (7.6 metres) of water inlet tubing so that the distiller can be conveniently sited. Additionally, a carbon block post filter is included to aid in the removal of any organic or inorganic gas carryover and to improve taste. The post filter only needs replacing twice a year.

FLOOR STAND OPTION

A custom built, stainless steel floor stand is available for easy movement. It allows the unit to be elevated 18 inches from the floor. This is the ideal accessory when counter space is at a premium. The castors enable the distiller to be turned around easily to drain the boiling tank after cleaning. Floor stand available from Wholistic for £88.

DEMAND PUMP OPTION

For transport of distilled water, the Midi-Classic is specially equipped with mounting holes to allow easy installation of a bolt-on, plug-in demand pump. With this added feature, distilled water can be pumped from the back of the storage tank and dispensed through an auxiliary tap, or routed to a refrigerator or icemaker. Flow rate is 5.25 litres per minute. The auxilary tap and twenty five feet (7.6 metres) of silicon tubing is supplied with the pump. The demand pump is available from Wholistic.

DISTILLATION & THE HYDROLOGIC CYCLE

• Just as Mother Nature takes ocean water and converts it to pure rain water, a Pure Water distiller duplicates the Hydrologic Cycle inside an appliance.
• Regular tap water is plumbed directly into the boiling tank from your home or office water supply.
• A heating element boils the contaminated feedwater killing bacteria, viruses and cysts, and the steam rises.
• The steam passes into the condensing coil. leaving impurities like lead and nitrates behind.
• A fan cools the steam and converts it to pure distilled water.
• A stainless steel storage tank holds the distilled drinking water and dispenses through a tap at the front.

There is no evidence or concern that drinking distilled water will have any negative effect on the body pH.
