They are perfect for making your own safe, fresh soya milk. One 500g bag will make five 1500ml batches of soyamilk in a SoyQuick soya milk maker. From this you can make five blocks of tofu using the So Easy Tofu Press and some coagulator. Or add soya yoghurt culture to the soyamilk to make 7.5 litres of dairy-free soya yoghurt. 

These soya beans can also be used for sprouting.

Germination breaks down some of the starch and protein in the seeds and makes them more digestible; and the green shoots contain vitamin C, not present in the seeds. Raw soya bean sprouts contain substances that inhibit the action of the digestive enzyme trypsin so must be cooked to make their protein available. Only a little cooking is necessary, such as stir-frying, which preserves the crunchy texture of the sprouts.

Buy larger quantities of soyabeans to save money!

If you buy a 5 kg bag of our organic GM-free soyabeans then the beans required for a 1.5 litre batch of fresh soyamilk will only cost you .29 pence. This compares very favourably with store bought soyamilk which sells for around £1.00 a litre.

Likewise, if you add tofu coagulator to make that soyamilk into fresh tofu, the beans and coagulator will only cost around .52 pence per block of tofu.

And if you add our soya yoghurt culture to the fresh soyamilk to make your own soya yoghurt, it will only cost you around £1.83 for 1.5 litres of fresh soya yoghurt.

So, not only will you save money by making your own, you'll also know that your freshly made soya food is organic and GM-free.
