Daylight simulation bulbs reduce glare and eye strain, and improve clarity and contrast. They are nearly full spectrum, containing all but the harmful, extreme ends of the spectrum. Their life expectancy is about 45 - 50% longer than standard light bulbs.

Standard light bulbs emit a predominantly yellow light, but the blue colour of these daylight bulbs neutralises the yellow to produce a more natural white light that mimics real sunlight. The white light allows perfect colour matching so these bulbs are ideal for artists and craft workers too.

Unlike some daylight simulation bulbs that are just ordinary bulbs with a blue coating, our daylight bulbs are made with blue glass so you don't have to worry about a blue coating that chips or peels off over time.

The 75 Watt and 100 Watt Daylight Simulation Bulbs are standard shaped bulbs that are available with a screw fitting - ONLY WHILE STOCKS LAST. (Note: The 75W and 100W bayonet fitting bulbs have already been discontinued.)

You can easily swap your standard screw bulbs with daylight simulation screw bulbs.
