The Large Hole Screen is just like the Normal Screen which comes as standard with every Champion Juicer, but it has larger holes for a higher yield of pulpy juices.

It is an optional extra, designed for juicing soft pulpy fruit like papaya, peach, apricot, melon and pear. The juice of these fruits cannot be fully separated from the fibre (banana and avocado are extreme examples of this type of fruit). Instead the Champion will grind these fruits into a thick pulpy nectar which will flow more readily through the large hole screen.

Simply remove the standard Normal Screen and put the Large Hole Screen in its place.

(If you want to add Banana to any juice, simply stir a little pureed banana into the juice after it has been made.)

If ordered with the Champion Juicer the screen goes free of any extra postal charges.

Almost any type of fruit juice can produce a delicious base for making jams. If you want to make jams using a Champion Juicer, it is advisable to use the large hole screen as indicated in the Champion recipe and operating instructions booklet.

Note: This booklet refers to jams and jellies, but jelly in America means a spread similar to jam without pieces of fruit in it, not the gelatinous jelly dessert we think of in the UK. (In America this dessert is referred to as jello.)
