The homogenising blank is used in place of the juicing screen so that, rather than separating juice from pulp, everything is pulped and mixed together. The pulp is  then extracted from the circular hole at the end of the juicer.

The blank is often used to pulp vegetables before pressing the pulp in a juice press.

It is also used for making

  • Creamy nut-butters
  • Purees
  • Baby foods
  • Frozen fruit ice cream

Try frozen strawberries or bananas.(Be sure to peel and straighten the bananas before freezing.)
