Which is the latest model – Kempo model GPT-E1303 or model KP-E1304/5? There is some confusion over the various Kempo models and some misinformation to be found on the internet about how they differ. We have been selling the Green Power Range of twin gear juicers for two decades now, so we know them all very well. Model GPT-E1303, also known as the Hippocrates Juicer, is the most recently redesigned Kempo body style which is sleeker and has a quick-release stainless steel catch on the handle. Kempo models KP-E1304 & KP-E1305 have the same body style and plastic catch on the body as the older Kempo model GPT-E1202, which preceeded model GPT-E1303, but models KP-E1304 & KP-E1305 come with the same upgraded twin gears and attachments of Kempo model GPT-E1303. All 3 models, GPT-E1303, KP-E1304 and KP-E1305 juicers are made in the same factory, have the same motor and juicing parts and produce the same quality juice. KP-E1305 also has further numerous parts for juicing various types of fruit which accounts for its higher price. All of these models are available in red and white, KP-E1305 is also available in orange and black. The main difference between the models is external - the shape of the body and handle, and the newer stainless steel catch on the handle of the GPT-E1303 vs the older plastic catch on the body of the KP-E1304 & KP-E1305. Our advice is to choose the model whose looks or features you prefer. We only sell Kempo model GPT-E1303, but we will match the price of any of these models sold elsewhere.

A patented Twin-Gear Crusher, powered by a 1/4 horse power motor, breaks up the cellular structure of fruit and vegetables, compressing the pulp and releasing vital, nutrient-rich juice.
Patented Helical Twin-Gears with powerful magnets and bio-ceramic material produce fresher juice, which can be stored for longer periods. The Kempo Green Power Juicer has the new improved Jang-type clean twin gears, designed to mesh closer together and solve the problem of foaming wheatgrass juice common with earlier twin gear models. The Jang-type gears can grind solid materials like dried red peppers, peanuts and sesame seeds. They shorten the time required for juice extraction and improve the extraction rate without destroying nutrients.
The Green Power Kempo has two unique ways of reducing deterioration of the juice due to oxidation. Firstly, the gears contain magnetic and bio-magnetic materials - the resulting magnetic field helps delay oxidation. Secondly, four magnets are located in the base of the juice-collecting jug to reinforce the effect. Oxidation is delayed by up to 48 hours.
The Kempo feeding chute cover doubles as a handy platform to rest the tamper on while juicing.

The new improved Green Power Kempo Juicer - Model GPT-E1303 supersedes 1999 model GPT-E1201 (similar to KP1301), which has a hidden pulp adjustment knob, the 1992/1994 Green Power (aka Green Life, now renamed the Green Star), the 1993 Green Power Gold (now renamed the Green Star Gold), as well as the original cumbersome Angel. Models KP-E1304 & 1305 are similar to GPT-E1303 using the same upgraded juicing parts, but they have the older plastic locking mechanism of model GPT-E1202 on the body and a different body and handle configuration.
Only model GPT-E1303 comes with both the quick-release stainless steel locking mechanism on the handle as well as the easy-to-access pulp adjustment knob.
The Green Power Kempo is available in WHITE or SPARKLING RED, with or without the optional attachments. Note: while the standard gears are perfectly capable of juicing wheatgrass, the additional wheatgrass and pasta gears will improve the yield. They also juice pulpy fruit more readily.
