Dowsing has a long history dating back to 6000 BC. It is usually associated with finding water using a Y-shaped twig which mysteriously reacts when approaching a water supply under ground. But the scope of dowsing is much broader than just finding water.
Dowsing can be simply defined as the skill to detect any invisible target like water, oil and gas supplies, mineral lodes, precious metals, archaeological remains, treasure troves, underground public utilities, and lost objects or people. Many dowsers are adept at finding earth energy flows, geopathic stress and ley lines, which interlace the surface of the planet. Dowsing can be used on maps or for medical diagnosis.
Dowsers are used by mining companies, local authorities, farmers seeking water for irrigation or home owners wanting to know the best place to site a well. Even the police have occasionally asked dowsers for help in locating missing persons.
The technique involves explicitly or implicitly asking our unconcious mind a 'question' and receiving the 'reply' by way of water-divining rods, by means of a pendulum, by radionic machines, through such systems as kinesiology or muscle testing, and in other similar ways.
A large majority of people can learn to dowse with reasonable accuracy and consistency, because these energies are part of the constitution of all of us, and it is certainly worth a try. It will develop your intuitive awareness too.
We offer V-shaped coated metal rods 16" long with two handles and a 2" wooden tip. The V-shaped dowsing rods are reminiscent of the Y-shaped twigs used by some dowsers.
NOTE: The Acu-Pulsor can also be used as an all positive dowsing pendulum.
