Delivery Information

We aim to despatch your order within 24 hours of receiving it, Monday to Friday, subject to stock. Orders received by midday are usually despatched the same day. Orders are either sent by courier - usually with DPD - or by post with Royal Mail.

When you check your shopping basket, you will be shown the delivery options, so you don't have to waste any time filling in your details first. To see the delivery options for your address you must choose your delivery location first. You will then be shown the delivery charge (or charges if there are options) for your parcel to be sent to your location. If you choose the wrong delivery location, your order will be delayed.

Depending on the weight of your order, you may be given various options from which to choose. For UK addresses these options may include 2nd class post, 1st class post, Special Delivery, courier, or Saturday Guaranteed (only for orders placed no later than midday on Friday). For areas outside the UK, the options will be either Airmail or courier.

Please Note: There must be someone at the delivery address to sign for and receive couriered or Special Delivery parcels. If you know you will not be present to receive a parcel, please give us an alternative delivery address (e.g. work, family or friend's address) or clear instructions where the parcel can be left in a safe place (e.g. with a neighbour, in an enclosed porch, unlocked shed, garage, etc - if safe). Delivery instructions can be typed in the 'Comments/requirements' box when checking out. Also, if there are any security measures at your premises, please provide clear instructions for the delivery driver to help him or her get to your door. It is frustrating and time consuming for us both if you want to change the delivery address or add instructions after the parcel has been despatched. Please provide any instructions when ordering, so we can make sure you receive your parcel without a hitch.

DPD, who courier most* of our large parcels, have become the HEROES OF UK HOME DELIVERY. They can now provide you with a ONE HOUR DELIVERY WINDOW so you know when to expect delivery and won't have to wait in all day to receive your parcel.

• They can notify you via text or email of a ONE HOUR DELIVERY WINDOW
• If it’s not convenient you can re-arrange via text or email to a more suitable date, or choose that it be left with a neighbour
• All communications will have our name included for instant recognition

Through this latest innovation DPD is able to ensure THE BEST POSSIBLE FIRST TIME DELIVERY SUCCESS, which saves everyone time and wasted journeys. This is better for you, DPD, and the planet. For this service you'll need to provide us with your email address or mobile phone number. We will ask DPD to send you the One Hour Delivery Window notification by email unless you tell us you would prefer to receive it by text message. The notification will be sent to you by the morning your delivery is due, so please check your emails the morning after you place your order if you have chosen delivery by courier (UK addresses).

*The 5-tray and 9-tray Excalibur Dehydrators are usually drop-shipped by another supplier who may not use DPD to courier them. If it is important for you to have the one hour delivery window notification, please contact us to check whether your delivery will be via DPD or not.

DELIVERY PRICES TO MAINLAND* UK ADDRESSES from April 2013:

*The Isle of Wight is included in mainland UK. Remote areas of Scotland, UK Islands and Northern Ireland may incur an additional charge for couriered parcels, and delivery may take an extra day or two. See below.**

• Royal Mail 2nd class starts from £4.00 - delivery usually in two or three days, excluding Sunday & holidays
• Royal Mail 1st class starts from £4.50 - delivery usually next day (not guaranteed), excluding Sunday & holidays
• Couriered Parcels start from £8.00 (mainland UK, excluding Scottish Highlands) - delivery next working day
• Saturday Delivery starts from £10.50 - Saturday by 1pm for orders placed no later than midday Friday
• above £150.00 delivery is FREE (mainland UK, excluding Scottish Highlands) - next working day

Delivery by Royal Mail is usually from one to three business days, Monday to Saturday (subject to stock), but please allow up to 14 days for delivery in case a parcel is temporarily misrouted by Royal Mail. If you have not received a posted parcel within 14 days please check with your local post office to see if they are holding it for you before calling us. Royal Mail should leave you a card telling you they are holding your parcel, but even if you have not received their card, please check. In too many cases, when people have reported non-receipt of a parcel, the parcel was later returned to us by Royal Mail labelled "Not Called For". When you check at your local depot, if your parcel is not there after 14 days, we will need your postal depot's address and phone number, the name of the postal worker you spoke to, and when you spoke to them, before we will send a replacement parcel to you. We will verify with them that your parcel has truly been "lost".

Delivery by DPD or other courier is usually next day for most of mainland UK, or two days for the rest of the UK, Monday to Friday (subject to stock). If you have not received a couriered parcel, or a card from our courier within 3 days, then please check the tracking online (if you have it) and contact our courier. If you choose delivery via courier, most couriered parcels can be tracked online at www.dpd.co.uk after you receive your consignment number. If you have given us your email address or mobile phone number, then DPD will send you an automated email or text message with your consignment number as soon as the parcel label has been raised by us. You can usually start tracking your parcel after 5pm that day. DPD will also email or text you on the morning of delivery to give you a one-hour delivery window so you will know when to expect delivery. They will give you the option to change the delivery date if the time is not convenient for you.

Contact us for your parcel's consignment number if you haven't received it and would like to contact DPD. You can telephone DPD on 08445 560 560 or 08448 240 505.  We can also help track your parcel and give you your one-hour delivery window on the morning of your delivery.

DPD may deliver anytime between about 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday to Friday. DPD is now offering a new service aimed at providing you with a probable 1 hour time slot for delivery so that you will not have to wait in all day for delivery.

Delivery at other times by DPD, as follows, can be arranged by request, for a higher carriage charge.  It is not possible to choose an afternoon delivery.
