I work in my clinic at 140 Harley Street, London W1G 7LB, as editor of this website, and in clinics in British Columbia, Canada.
In the clinic I work with my assistant and we run a general practice in Health Care. We see patients with any kind of health concern, from acute recent developments to difficult conditions with a history. We do short consultations and longer testing sessions when needed. With long-standing problems the object is always the same :
to unmask and remove the root cause(s) behind the present condition and the factors that block the ability to get well
to identify and help remove the Toxic Residues that are left over from our history and are still getting in the way of normal function
to teach and help with information, advice, ongoing health maintenance and preventive health care.
This approach is very precise in its ability to pinpoint and then remove the key factors that perpetuate a health problem, both the "energetic" ones and the "material" ones. On the other hand it is very simple, and comes down to getting the right things in and the wrong things out so that the body is able to heal and restore itself. "Right things in" means food and nutrition, water and air. "Wrong things out" means anything that is in the body that is not meant to be there, is using up vital energy and is therefore a burden that works against health.
In this I am defining Health as the ability to be able to continually adapt to changeing circumstances, both in the body and in the environment, since getting stuck and not being able to respond properly will sooner or later lead to small and then big health challenges. Being continually responsive in this way also applies to our emotional, psychological and mental domains, since rigid opinions, inflexible thinking and repetitive emotional habits are the non-physical equivalent of stuckness in the physical body and will lead eventually to physical health problems.
We use traditional and modern methods of diagnostics and treatment. "Modern" simply means the extension of the vision and scope of both Traditional Acupuncture and of Classical Homeopathy into the information era, using technology in combination with traditional skills. It includes Acupuncture diagnostics and treatment, Iridology, Bio-energetic Testing (Vegatest Expert Testing, DFM), Homotoxicology, Drainage Remedies, Bioresonance therapy, Kosmed Therapy, Herbal & Nutritional supplementation, and the relatively new Mitosan Therapy, which is proving particularly effective with both acute and longstanding problems of all kinds.
We also use MRT (Matrix Regeneration Therapy)to great effect. This is another application of technology to an ancient technique (cupping) and it enables deep detoxificatiopn of the connective tissue. It is very effective in enabling recovery from entrenched problems of all kinds. (see link to Lead Article on MRT)
Being in Central London and because of the detective diagnostic services that I offer, I see people from all over the world. On the treatment side I organise and supervise recovery strategies for many patients who live locally or far away When needed I refer in-house or to local practitioners for treatments that I can not provide directly. I treat each person very individually and together with my assistants we always make a very personal plan for each patient depending on your immediate needs, how concerned you are about future health, how easy it is to get to the clinic regularly if needed, and time and money factors.
We are keen to see you take as much initiative in your recovery strategy as you can, because experience has shown that you are more likely to get the result you are looking for if you are active and involved, rather than passively receiving treatment. When you are active and involved it creates more scope and opportunities for us to help you make great change.
-------------------
As well my own patients , I also see patients in detective mode who are referred by their doctors and by other Health Professionals, to whom I report directly. This aspect of my work is very challenging and I enjoy it as much as working with my own patients.
-------------------
I run a regular teaching clinic for students and new practitioners of Biological Medicine Diagnostics and Treatment. I also enjoy this very much as it gives me a chance to pass on all the knowledge and experience I have gained and developed over many years. I am also very keen to see my students be able to be of service to other health professionals and their patients, in the way that I aspire to be, by being able to carefully analyse the relevant stress factors and their priorities and report in plain english to other health professionals.
---------------------
Below I have summarized my own education, qualifications, professional societies, professional experience and other things that might be relevant. Beyond this, the people who have had the biggest impact on my thinking and approach to my work are:
Michio Kushi, who taught me that there is a reason for everything if only we could find it
John Hicks who, on Day 1, explained that there would be a lot of obstacles and that he expected me to get over or around all of them
Jack Worsley, who taught me the defining importance of emotional factors and of rapport with them, and that ultimately what moves the spirit also moves the physical
Helmut Schimmel, who taught me how to be a better detective, how to identify the origin of the causal chain, and whose insight and ingenuity in the face of adversity has been an inspiration
Dean Black, who I have never met, but who has helped me find the words to talk in western language about concepts from Chinese medicine and culture, and to do the same with all the German Medizin concepts
