Researchers in New Zealand have found that synthetic fillings for duvets contain 15 times as much of an asthma- causing dust as feather fillings. The dust in question can aggravate existing sufferers of asthma and infants. The research has led to a change in advice for asthma sufferers who were being to told to stick to synthetic materials.
